DAY TO DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 - BERGEN

Arrival in the city of Bergen, the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. Our tour leader will meet you at the airport and will escort you throughout the tour. Transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in the city center.

Day 2 - BERGEN - SOGNEFJORD - FLAM

Day 5 - DAY ONBOARD - GEIRANGERFJORD & ÅLESUND

Day onboard. Today the cruise will pass two important attractions: the Geiranger Fjord, with its imposing stone walls and waterfalls, and secondly the city of Ålesund, built on several islands and famous for its Art Nouveau architecture. Night on board.

Havila Port-to-Port Cruise

In the early morning, you will embark on a cruise that sails along the Sognefjord, the longest in the country. Arrival at noon in the town of Flåm, and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will take a short bus ride to the neighboring village of Gudvangen and visit the open-air Viking museum "Viking village" where the history and culture of the Viking age come back to life. Transfers from and to Flåm included.

Day 6 - TRONDHEIM

Breakfast on board, arrival in Trondheim in the morning. Transfer to the hotel. Our local guide will pick you up for a panoramic walking sightseeing tour. You will visit the old bridge of the city, Nidelva's riverbank with its typical fishermen's houses painted in vibrant colors, and the central square. During the tour, you will also visit the Gothic-style Nidaros Cathedral. It was built in the Middle Ages and houses the tomb of St. Olaf, making it one of the most important pilgrimage centers for almost 400 years. Afternoon free.

Day 3 - FLAM TRAIN - MYRDAL - BERGEN

Breakfast. Today you will experience one of the most beautiful scenic trains in Europe. The Flam train (Flåmsbana) takes you in 1 hour from the fjord to Myrdal mountain station, located 867 meters above sea level. The train makes a short stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall, where you can admire the views from the viewpoint. In Myrdal, there will be a connection with the regular-line train that will take you back to Bergen. In the afternoon, you have tickets to go up the Mount Fløien funicular, from where you get great panoramic views of the city and the coast.

Day 7 - TRONDHEIM - RØROS

Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, you will take a train to the city of Røros, in the heart of Norway. The ancient town of Røros became famous in the 17th century for the exploitation of copper mines. The historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980, and the central street, Kjerkgata, has a unique charm. Very close to the center is also the church and the Hyttklokka, a particular clock tower that warned the miners when their shift began and ended. Transfers are not needed this day, since the hotels are located in front of the train station.

Day 4 - BERGEN - NIGHT CRUISE

In the morning, our local guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby for a walking tour of the city. You will visit Zacharia's Bryggen and the typical postcard of the houses with colored facades, Maria's church, and the city park, among other things. In the afternoon, transfer in a regular taxi to the harbor to embark on the Havila cruise, which will take you to Trondheim. Accommodation in standard internal cabins.

Day 8 - RØROS - OSLO

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will take a train to Oslo. The train line runs between idyllic valleys and mountains, a postcard that will be forever marked in your memory. Arrival in Oslo in the afternoon, transfer to the hotel, check-in, and the rest of the day free.
